Adam	Gibson	Adam died on 28th October 2011 aged 81 years. He was an previous member of the River Police. His funeral service will be held at 11.30am on Monday 7th November 2011 at South Shields Crematorium
Ernest James	Maughan	Ernest died on 27th October 2011 aged 92 years. He lived in the South Shields area. His funeral service was held on 4th November 2011.Ernest was a former senior detective.
Billy	Simpson	Billy, who died on 30th October, 2011 ages 83 years, was ex Tynemouth Borough and Northumbria Police. His funeral will take place at 11.15am on Thursday 10th November, 2011 at Tynemouth Crematorium. Billy was a sergeant instructor at Newby Wiske in the late 1960s and retired as a chief inspector.
Ted	Roberts BEM	Ted died on 9th November, 2011 aged 87 years. He was a member of the Marine Division, and a firearms instructor for many years in the early 1970s. Ted, who retired as a sergeant, was a member of the Durham police before becoming a member of Northumbria Police following amalgamation. His funeral will be held at 9am on Saturday 12th November 2011 at St Aloysius Church, Prince Consort Road, Hebburn, NE31 1BE and thereafter at the crematorium, John Reed Road at 10am followed by a reception at Heworth Golf Club at 11am.
Henry (Harry)	Stout	Harry died on the 9th November 2011 aged 86 year. He does not leave a widow. His funeral will take place at 1pm on Tuesday 22nd November 2011 at St Augustine's Church, Alston. Primarily a Gateshead Borough officer, Harry retired around 1980 having also served in Durham Constabulary and Northumbria Police as the result of amalgamations. In addition to the usual postings to foot patrol duties, he served with motor patrols and also in the Vice Squad in Newcastle in the 1970s.
Ernie	Dawson	Ernie died on 24th November 2011 aged 66 years. He leaves a widow, Doreen. His funeral service will take place at 1.15pm on Tuesday 6th December 2011 at Mountsett Crematorium, Dipton, Stanley, DH9 9JP. Ernie was an ex Newcastle City officer. He was a member of Market Street CID in the 1970s and also the Fraud Squad amongst other detective and specialist roles including senior supervisory positions throughout his service.
Robert Wilson (Jock)	Hannan	Jock died on the 29th November 2011 aged 87 years. He lived in the Otterburn area. His funeral will take place at 12noon on Wednesday 7th December 2011 at Tynemouth Crematorium. Jock was ex Tynemouth Borough and retired as a chief superintendent from Northumbria Police in 1980.
Reginald H.	Campbell	Reg died on 7th November 2011 aged 89 years. He was a former Sunderland Borough officer who retired from Durham Constabulary. He was known to many retired Northumbria Police officers.
Gordon	Hartle	Gordon died on 1st December 2011 aged 83 years. He leaves a widow, Edith. Gordon, who retired as a constable in 1984 lived in the Heddon area and earlier in Bellingham. Gordon's funeral was held on 9th December, 2011.
Jeffery	McCoy	Jeffery died on 30th December 2011 aged 60 year. At the time of his death, Jeffery was living in France with his partner where it is believed his funeral will take place. During his police career, Jeffery is known to have been a member of Traffic Department. He retired in June 2006.
John Anthony	Bell	John died on 28th December 2011 aged 65 years. He leaves a widow, Judith. John lived on the Isle of Skye. John retired as a constable in 1988.
Anthony (Tony)	Wright	Tony died 5th January 2012 aged 69 years. His funeral will take place at 11.15am on Wednesday 18th January 2012 at All Saints Church, Lobley Hill followed by cremation at Saltwell Park Crematorium at 12 noon. Tony lived in the Gateshead area and retired as a constable in 1984. There is no surviving spouse.
Patrick (Pat)	Surgey	Pat died on 5th January 2012 aged 77 years. He does not leave a surviving spouse. Pat retired as a constable in December 1980 and has resided in the Nottingham area.
John Lyle	Stout	John died on 12th January 2012 aged 72 years. He retired from SB in 1991. John leaves a widow, Valerie. The funeral service will take place at 10.30am on Friday 20th January, 2012 at Saltwell Crematorium.
Thomas William (Tom)	Dixon	Tom died on 18th February 2012 aged 76 years. He leaves a widow, Joan. Funeral service will be held at 10.45am on Friday 24 February 2012 at St. John's Church, Chopwell. John retired from Northumbria Police having also been a member of South Shields Borough force.
Arthur Frederick	Footman	Arthur died on 22nd February 2012 aged 93 years. There are no additional details about family or funeral. Arthur was a chief inspector at the time of his retirement in 1983 from South Shields (Northumbria)
George	Phillips	George died on 13th March 2012 aged 76 years. He retired as a constable in 1987. George leaves a widow, Marion. The funeral service took place on 22nd March 2012.
Robert William Gordon	Bowmer	Gordon died on the 20th February 2012 aged 79 years having retired as a constable in 1985 spending much of his service in the north of the county.
Wendy	Rickwood (nee Gill)	Wendy died on 27th March 2012 aged 53 years. She resided in the Walker area of the city. Wendy worked as a constable in the east end of Newcastle in the 1970s and 80s, resigning when she had her family and later returning as a member of support staff. Service will take place at West Road Crematorium at 1pm Wednesday 4th April 2012.
Catherine	Reay (nee Cairns)	Cathy died on 4th April 2012 aged 83 years. She is survived by her husband Robert (Bob) who was a member of the old Tynemouth Borough Traffic Department. Bob and Cathy were also regular attenders at NARPO functions. Funeral service will be held at Tynemouth Crematorium on Thursday 12th April at 10.30am. Alan	Hughes	Alan died on the 9th April 2012 aged 59 years. He leaves a widow, Kathleen. Alan who lived in the Sunderland area retired as a constable in 1998. The funeral service will be held at St Chad's Church, Sunderland at 2.15pm Wednesday, 18th April 2012.
George	Proudfoot	George died on the 10th April, 2012 aged 85 years. He leaves a widow, Doris. George, who was an ex Newcastle City officer, retired as a constable in 1981. John	Patterson	John died on the 9th April, 2012 aged 95 years. There is no additional information about family members. John, an ex Newcastle City officer, lived in the Benwell area. He retired as a constable in 1969. No funeral arrangements information is currently at hand. James Peacock	Atkinson	Jim died on the 26th April, 2012 aged 65 years. He leaves a widow Kathleen. Jim, who lived in the Chester le Street area, retired as an inspector at Washington in March 2005. The funeral will take place a Durham Crematorium at 10am on Friday 4th May, 2012.
John	Ramshaw	John died on the 1st May, 2012 aged 65 years. He leaves a widow, Pat. John, who lived in the Lanchester area, retired as a constable in 1997. He worked as the village constable at Ovingham, and at Prudhoe and Hexham in uniform and CID. He is also believed to have served in Newcastle West End CID. His funeral was held at Lanchester Parish Church and, thereafter, Mountsett Crematorium on Thursday, 10th May, 2012.
Jeffrey Charles	Leng	Jeff died on 11th May, 2012 aged 64 years. He lived in the Chester le Street area and spent much of his service as a constable in Washington and Houghton. His funeral service will be held at Durham Crematorium at 9.30am on Friday, 18th May, 2012.
